Conservation Organizations

Based in the Peruvian Amazon, Conapac is a nonprofit organization that serves the areas near the Explorama lodges. Their work brings clean drinking water to communities, various fruit trees, as well as an adopt-a-school program.

Adoptabosque supports environmental education programs, bird appreciation, reforestation, and manages private reserves, including the Chucanti cloud forest.

Through community based programs dedicated to studying and protecting squirrel monkeys on the Osa Peninsula and all the monkey species throughout Costa Rica.

Waita rehabilitates and monitors various wildlife populations, with a focus most often on birds. They are also involved in community outreach and education.

Dedicating to studying and protecting the muriqui monkey of Brasil and the Mata Atlântica forest ecosystems they inhabit.
